ICRA receives $10,000 grant

Published by on

ICRA is grateful to the Yahoo Employee Foundation for the recent award of a $10,000 Impact Grant to support our spay/neuter activities. This grant will defray the costs of spay/neuter surgery for 200 unowned cats in the East Bay. That’s a whole lot of litters prevented!

ICRA funds spay/neuter surgery for over 1,000 community cats each year in Alameda, Oakland, and nearby cities. This work is a crucial component in addressing cat overpopulation and reducing the intake at local shelters. We thank YEF for recognizing the value of this important work with their generous Impact Grant.
