Herman Update: Ready for adoption soon!

In our last update on Herman about a month ago, he was scheduled to be neutered and made available for adoption soon after. Well, we hit a little road bump: when he went in to be neutered, the vet discovered that he had an undescended testicle. That meant we had to wait a while to either give that testicle time to descend or let him grow a bit before having a more complicated surgery. We don’t know which one it’ll be yet, but in the meantime, he’s been doing great!

Herman and Ethel

Herman went to a new foster home a few weeks ago, and he was matched with a fellow singleton kitten named Ethel Merman. Ethel helped Herman recover from his eye surgery, and Herman has helped Ethel gain confidence (he’s such a ham!). Herman is super energetic, so he doesn’t always give his gal pal her turn to play, but they’ve become so bonded that we’d like to them to be adopted together. Hopefully, Herman will be ready soon.
