We’ve got the purrfect afternoon planned for you! Hot swing and smoking BBQ in a swanky lounge. All costs are underwritten by the event sponsors so 100% of ticket sales go to Island Cat Resources and Adoption.
Lavay Smith and her Red Hot Skillet Lickers will be lighting up The Fireside Lounge from 3-5 with her unmistakeable sound, bringing classic jazz and blues to this cozy venue. Don’t miss the chance to see this phenomenal band up close and personal. Oakland Smoke Shack BBQ will have perfectly smoked beef brisket, pulled pork sliders, pork ribs, and rotisserie style chicken along with traditional sides of mac and triple cheese, BBQ vegan beans, slaw, and candied sweet yams. Your ticket will transport you to a wonderland of music and food. The Fireside Lounge will have some drink specials as well as their regular full bar and cocktail menu available for purchase.
We adore children and young adults but this event is 21 and over, please, based on the venue’s restrictions.
Island Cat Resources and Adoption (ICRA) is an all-volunteer group devoted to improving the lives of community cats in the Alameda, CA and Oakland, CA areas. They are committed to providing education, tools, and resources to those in the local community who can make an immediate difference in their own backyards.
