ICRA is committed to keeping the health and well-being of our community our first priority during the COVID-19 pandemic. For that reason, we have adjusted our programs to ensure we are doing our part to reduce the spread of the virus.
- Access to spay/neuter for feral cats: We continue to work with local community members and clinics to provide spay/neuter surgeries for feral cats. By continuing to spay and neuter free-roaming cats, we are making an impact on reducing the number of unwanted kittens that overwhelm the shelter system every spring. All clinics we are working with are taking extra steps to ensure staff, clients, and animals stay healthy.
- Adoptions: We have started a new virtual adoption process to keep our fosters, potential adopters and adoption volunteers safe. If one of the cats from our website captures your heart, you can fill out an online application anytime and we’ll guide you through this new process. All events at our Petco mobile adoption site are postponed until further notice.
- Champagne Silent Auction: Postponed till further notice. Please stay tuned for updates in the coming months.
We know this is going to be a tough year for our entire community. If you can, please consider supporting us with a donation today. Despite these difficult circumstances, stray and feral cats will always need our support and we hope to always be there for them.
