First adopted as a kitten when the movie WALL-E was on the big screens, little Tabitha is now at a crossroads many of us contemplate: new adventures in life. After 13 years, she’s now searching for her second forever home.
A no-fuss, easy-going cat, Tabitha is the perfect companion for someone with a patient, quiet home. She will likely need a period of quiet, alone time to warm up to a new home. But when she feels comfortable, Tabitha loves to be around her people and is curious and friendly with new people.
Tabitha is tiny, with an outsized warm heart. She loves to cuddle with humans of all genders, small and large, and to participate in important household activities (such as helping you read the newspaper and inspecting empty boxes). Tabitha’s favorite activity is to keep your lap warm. Her second favorite is being petted by you.
After an unfortunate falling out with her littermate several years ago in her previous home, Tabitha will likely do best in a household without other cats. With the sudden shift in life, she can startle at unfamiliar noises and prefers a quiet home.
Tabitha’s review of her current foster home: “The sleeping facilities – on the human lap and on/under the sofa – are excellent. The human, however, sneezes too loudly, and there is entirely too much going on. Lounge more – with me and a good book – is what I say.”
(Host’s response: “Tabitha has left the house in pristine condition and my soul in even better. She runs to lead me to the couch whenever I spend more than two minutes in the vertical position. Rest more and be zen, is her mantra. Tabitha takes her role as self-appointed work supervisor very seriously, meditating in solidarity over the laptop with the human. I’m sorry the sneezes are so loud!”)
Tabitha may get along with calm dogs. Tabitha was born in April 2008.
