Shaw is a beautiful Maine Coon-looking guy, although not a large cat in stature. He has a playful side and adores chasing the laser light. He also has a serene, almost serious side where you'll find him laying in front of a window with a far-away look in his eyes. He seems to enjoy the company of other foster cats, yet he's not bonded with a particular cat.
After a hard beginning where Shaw ended up living on the street, he was in poor condition and traumatized from the experience. After a few months in foster care to rehabilitate, he is doing well in that he enjoys being petted and will sit in your lap if placed there. We believe that with continued encouragement, he will become a lap cat.
His ideal forever home will be a quiet, stable, adult only environment with an experienced guardian who is familiar and motivated to guide this sensitive cat in his continuing journey to blossom while adjusting to a new home. Shaw adores being brushed – it's a sure way to become a fast friend. He may do okay with older kids over age 10, but he needs a dog-free home. We estimate he was born in January of 2018. Bio# 4024 MB
