Sammi is a cute, silly, and happy little cat. He loves to play and can pretty much make a toy out of almost anything. Sammi is also very good at keeping your desk tidy by knocking off any pens or pencils that are in the way so that you have plenty of space to work on. He loves snuggling as much as possible with the 10 year old in his foster home, but he will also happily snuggle with an adult if the 10 year old is not available. Sammi also appears to have some sort of advanced teleporting skills. He will be dead to the world asleep on a couch near the kitchen and as soon as the 10 year old puts a plate down on the counter for his wet food for dinner, he is at her feet with a petite meow, without any evidence of actual physical movement from the couch to the kitchen. Sammi also loves to sit in the window and watch the squirrels and other creatures.
Note that Sammi comes from a very rough place and does not trust adults easily (though seems to be comfortable around kids more quickly, 5+ is probably best). Thus, his new home will ideally consist of very loving and patient humans who can let him warm up to them on his own timeline. It is well worth the wait for that first time he snuggles up with you, purring away.
Sammi is being fostered without other pets, thus, we are not sure how he would do with other pets. He may do well with another cat, but since he is so wary, he may not do well with a dog. Sammi was born in September of 2019.
