As you can see by this sweet guy's photos, Randy loves to be close to his people – whether on your chest with his head tucked under your chin or on your lap. Be prepared for a lot of love from this wonderful tabby kitty. Randy is a talker, assertive, social, affectionate, easy-going, and did we mention that he's a lap cat?
Randy lived a tough life before coming to Island Cat. He has a bullet in his left hind leg behind his knee that is unlikely to cause any future problems. But, he's been through a lot outdoors. Randy has hyperthyroid (easy to treat) and suspected inflammatory bowel disease (IBS) that is currently managed with medications and a prescription diet. He is doing very well since his rescue in the summer of 2019. He loves his foster family, but eagerly awaits a permanent home that he can call his own! Is it with you?
Randy would do fine with kids who have had cats in their lives before and/or a calm, cat-friendly dog but he would prefer to be the only cat. We estimate Randy was born in 2012. Bio# MB001
