Pierre reminds us of a dapper Frenchman with one grey spot slanted down over his eye like a jaunty beret. He also sports a luxurious tail, lopsided mustache, goatee, stunning wisps of fur gracing his ears and a certain "je ne sais quoi" that makes him charismatic in a quiet way. He is all class! We can see him gazing out the window at the Eiffel Tower in the distance, waiting for his dinner and recounting tales of survival on the street. He’s a calm, smooth gentleman who is overjoyed with his move from the streets to the comfy indoors. Pierre has easily settled in with his foster siblings; Emerson, Romeo and Zeus and enjoys spending time with all of them. He has no desire to be in charge. He just wants to relax in the sun, eat, play with a wand toy and take meticulous care of his lovely coat. He is slowly accepting neck rubs and full body pets.
Watching and learning from his foster friends is helping Pierre build some confidence. Pierre came to us when tempted by some kitten food. He bears a remarkable resemblance to Romeo, and may have had a paw in bringing Romeo into the world. We had to give him a closer look, and we are happy we did. Just one touch of his butter soft fur and you will be smitten.
He carries some scars from the street; one eye has an old injury, but he has full vision. Pierre could be a solo cat or a companion to another of pretty much any temperament. He is still a bit shy, but inquisitive and with a slow hand, receptive to petting and attention. His person will need to let Pierre set the pace for interacting, but he won't take too long in coming around and sharing attention and affection. He may be OK with older, gentle kids, age 12 and up. Pierre does fine with the dog in his foster home and could live with a calm dog. We estimate he was born in 2016. Bio# 4044 GJ
