Big Head Ed
Big Head Ed, or Ed to his friends, was a welcome surprise. We were trying to trap a certain kitty and Ed sauntered into the trap not at all concerned. Once in the trap, Ed just started talking. He shared stories of his life, his views on neutering (all good), his love of making biscuits and purring, and his desire to live indoors and finally get cleaned up. There's no way to miss his massive head and wonder what genius is contained therein. Ed has shown himself to be a talkative, sweet and very affectionate guy. Don't let his massive size fool you, this guy is a marshmallow with his person, but can be a little bossy with other cats. He just wants to get pets, gaze out the window, sit in your lap, engage in some play and have a conversation. If you're looking for a workout to do at home or have been meaning to build some arm strength, Ed loves being picked up and held. Although Ed likes things his way, he does get along pretty well with his foster buddies; Zeus, Romeo, Pierre and Emerson, only correcting them when they attempt to steal his food. He may, over time, develop a relationship with another cat. Ed appears unfazed by the resident dog in his foster home, so he may be ok with a calm dog with a slow intro. He would be OK with older, gentle kids, age 12 and up. Ed could live with another cat who isn't interested in being the boss of him or he could likely be a solo cat. We estimate he was born in 2014.
